Here it goes.
My name is John, and this is my first post in my first ever blog. (does "blog" stand for anything?) I guess I could google it. Anyway, I've been a photographer for quite some time, but I haven't really made any new work recently. I'm starting this blog as an attempt to kinda kick start my addiction with photography again. My goal is to post a new photo each week. I'm going to start off with an older image, but it's my intention to add new/recent work each week.
I'm about to upload my first photo, and I've realized that I really don't have a clue about all of the different settings. This is going to be quite a learning experience for me.
I'm going to start this off with an image I took some time ago. I was living in Salt Lake City at the time (around 1996-1997 I believe) and decided to do a bit of exploring and found this old railroad car. To tell you the truth, I hardly remember much about it, but I like the image, and its an easy one to start off with.
For anyone interested, this image was shot with a Pentax 67, 45mm lens, T-Max 400 Film. Scanned to digital using an Epson V600 scanner.
