I saw this fire hydrant a few weeks ago, but was unable to stop and take some pictures at the time. Not having taken any pictures this week, I decided to pay a visit to this lonely looking hydrant. I say lonely, because it kind of sits in the middle of nowhere. There are no houses close by, no buildings of any sort for at least a mile. I believe the physical isolation of this fire hydrant affected the way I photographed it. It's presence in the image is much like it's presence it real life.
